Checklist For Value Investors

Most investors fail in the stock market but that doesn’t mean they lack knowledge.
Today, almost every resource you need is available online. With tons of tutorials on YouTube and valuable information just a click away, knowledge is no longer the barrier.

Disclaimer: I am still learning. Most of my money is invested in mutual funds right now. I will take bigger risks only when I have the right knowledge and the basic skills we are about to discuss in this short blog.

I am currently reading “The Intelligent Investor” – one of the most popular books in the world of investing, and even endorsed by Warren Buffett.

This blog was inspired by the lessons I’m learning from this book.

Avoid These Behaviors If You Want to Build Generational Wealth

  • Panic selling during drops
  • Chasing hot stocks (FOMO)
  • Overtrading & paying excessive fees
  • Ignoring diversification
  • Overpaying (no margin of safety)
  • Market timing instead of steady investing
  • Greed during booms, fear during crashes
  • Impatience — expecting quick results
  • No written plan for buys/sells
  • Comparing returns to others and taking reckless risks

I’d love to connect with like-minded individuals.

Goodbye for now…
